"THE GATEWAY", Neighborhood Sculpture and Site

The Gateway was a community effort, to develop an unused street right-of-way into a major outdoor sculpture site and gateway to Madison's South Side. Design Coalition staffers provided assistance in fundraising and selection of the artist, designed the lighted sculpture base, assisted in the actual installation of the sculpture, and coordinated volunteer landscaping efforts.
