A Sample List of Some "Green" Building Materials

People keep asking us to give them our list of "green" building materials, the ones that we specify ourselves.

Trouble is, we're always looking for new and better "green" products ourselves. And there's good products out there that we haven't had the opportunity to try, or that are not necessarily suitable for the bio-region we work in, or are not easily available in our area, and so on. It's just not possible -- or even very helpful -- to maintain some sort of a "best-of-green-materials" list.

But people still ask.

So we've put together a sample list (PDF) of materials and sources to get you started. It is NOT a comprehensive list, and we haven't specified every one of the products, so we're in no position to recommend them. However, it may help you find something you're looking for.

This list is available as a PDF (Portable Document Format) for easy downloading and printing.
