'The Village' Cohousing Project

The Village comprises 5 buildings. In the center is the Common House (pictured below). The first floor has two guestrooms, a children's playroom, an office, a library/multi-purpose room, and the common kitchen and dining space. The second floor contains four dwelling units, and the basement has storage and garage parking for 6 cars.

Above: View of the nine unit building across the courtyard from the Common House terrace. The kitchen and dining spaces of the dwellings are oriented to the courtyard. Upper units have lofts.

Above: A view of the building showing individual garden plots and upper balconies. The balconies are designed to allow an easy conversion to screened porches. The large shared basement has an excercise room, large laundry, bicycle parking and storage.
